Topic: Question for the Gurus! (Page 1 of 1)

I've been searching and searching for some software or application that will allow me to develop or customize my own personal networking site. It is for a small church organization and they want to be able to control the content so that there is no inappropriate material on it, no advertizements, etc.

I haven't had any luck but I'd like if to be a very simple, clean network like Facebook, but more simple like www.modelmayhem.com

Just to share pictures, network and have a safe online enviroronment for families.

Any help would be appreciated!

I am sure there's stuff out there but the only thing that I have ever seen is http://www.ning.com/

A site that I frequent uses it and it seems to be something like what you want. The site that I frequent doesn't use their sub domain feature they offer but does use their software.
