Topic: Media Server for PS3 (Page 1 of 1)

Can anyone recommend a free Media Server (other than WMP 11) for streaming to PS3.

I've tried Simple Center but wasn't too impressed.

Also, for some reason the PS3 will not show my JPEGs...just says no titles found.
Yet it works just fine for movies as long as they are in the right format.
I downloaded the xvid codec and converted to MPEG..

Can try TVersity. There's a tutorial on YouTube about it streaming to a PS3.

A friend of mine just bought one of these. He said he loves it and it works great.

I use TVersity at home, myself, but up until now it has been rather glitchy, and the service often crashes without warning, even when not in use. I've been waiting to try out the latest (full RC1.0) release to see if they've managed to iron out the creases. In fact, I think I shall be doing this tonight - when it did work, it was quite impressive. I have managed to use TVersity to stream to a Nintendo Wii, a PSP, and other PCs (including my office desktop across the internet)! As it is still in active development, I'm expecting wonderful things for its future.
