Well it is that time of year after all
SO to celebrate I'm using a conker to start us off, I hope that's ok with you? I have not compressed the image at all or saved it as a PSD, you can find it here as a jpeg. I usually save my images as a PSD, RaR or ZIP them up. Do you have any preferences in format at all?

I blew the planet up, but didn't like the BANG it made so I put it back together. Then I decided to investigate Planet Conker in more detail, but got hopelessly lost.
So I'm serving up what I've got left.

That serve certainly blew away some of my Photoshop cobwebs, I loved what you did with the first serve. I'm all set for any volleys you might send my way

"Diviners Sage" I have not heard of this before, I'll have to investigate. Any tips Blaise?
You know I've just thought, I'm still getting used to this monitor I'm using, a V7. I know, I'd never heard of it before either. It's a very bright display so my images may appear too dark on other monitors. I've tried calibrating it but I think it's just a cheap monitor.
Also I'm currently working in Adobe 1998 RGB but I'm thinking of changing my workings colour space to ProPhoto RGB.

Well ... I was going to make a castle ... but what do you know ... it turned out to be a magical cupcake ...

As the weather here has been beautiful here again to-day I've had to spend most of it working, preparing the gardens for the winter. So not as much time 'shoppin' as I would like. Still....No more excuses I'll have something ready for you to-morrow.

Have you ever seen the sci-fi series "The Outer Limits" or "The Twilight Zone"?

Well I feel like I've entered some kind of bizarre alternate "Photoshop doesn't work like it used to" universe. Everything on the surface looks the same but is not. For instance the colours on my CRAPOLA 20" V7 are mental. You know what the screen looks like at 800x600 256 colours? well when I get into colour chooser or save for the web dialogue boxes my colours are all blocky like that with halos of pixelated colour where there should be a smooth gradient.
Also I can't resize any element inside Photoshop. When I select the move (or any tool) and to to Transform the curser changes to a hand....A HAND not the resize cursor that is normally there.

I'm using an old 1.9 gig P4 with only 512meg of RAM here so I know that does not help but it was OK a couple of days ago. Arggh What to do?....
Flush the Cache? ....done
Restart, clear the cache, and disable anything that is not totally necessary? ... done.
Erm....what else? Re-install? I can't here, my disk is in my flat miles away...bugger!

If you can wait Arthurio I'm going back to my place to-morrow so I should be able to finish my serve there. I'm not on the internet a my place though so it may take another day after that before I can use the library to upload my effort

Thanks, I was rather enjoying playing quicker rounds than I had been accustomed to. In fact once I get this glitch sorted out it would be nice to see if anyone is up for a very quick game in the future, perhaps 24 hours each per turn or even four or five turns each in one day. As long as each of the players can arrange a day free to concentrate on the Pong match there should be no problem,
Still I suppose that's easier said than done.

Just leaving a note to apologise for the delayed return. I'm still away from home so have not had a chance to try to re-install Photoshop to eliminate those glitches. Autumn is a gorgeously busy time for me.

Was just wandering the halls and found some stale popcorn in the corner of the PSPong room... Awfully quiet back here, and without any lights on, that magical cupcake was rather frightening.

From what I can remember I still "owe" you one Arthurio, working on the, Four Serve Rule. I should have finished this a long time ago really, don't like loose ends...

Thank you Arthurio I enjoyed the match.
Maaannn there were some cobwebs there that needed blowing away and PS Pong always seems to help in that process. I've been using Photoshop mostly for editing photographs over the past year or two. I really need to get back to using it for other avenues of twiddling.
