I am designing a site, and while I can create a fairly good-looking shiny metal interface edging (the usual beveled pipe-like sort of thing), I was wondering if anyone had any tips for getting a photo-realistic platinum/silver look to this type of 3D interface? I have only used Photoshop, and have not used Bryce or Blender for 3D models... but would that be the path to try? It would be a typical half-cylinder style bevel look. |
