Topic: Nasal Stemcells

Was listening to the Science channel for some reason. I caught a bit about using stemcells from the nasals and transplanting them. Some quadrapalegics were actually getting functions back. One girl was actually pretty close to walking again.

Because they are the subject's own cells, no real chance for rejection. Couple other benefits as well.

I've been out of this particular loop for quite awhile, but thought some of y'all might want a heads-up on this.

Very interesting indeed, that might actually prove to be very very helpful for a lot of people if it works.
Now I wonder what part of pro-life- and other regligous organizations will do to stop it...
