![]() Hi guys, my system seems to have been hit by a battalion of viruses, i'm disabling and uninstalling any unfamiliar/suspicious programs and encountered these (vcrt80.exe, sdsxdsds.exe,dfghjxs.exe) that is running everytime i restart my machine, I have Zonealarm currently blocking it and well I need to find out if anyone knows whether its a virus or just some annoying program. |

![]() There's a free utility from McAfee called 'stinger' which is supposed to beat any viruses that load during bootup. Short of that, disable system restore, boot into safe mode, scan, find files. If it comes down to it, grab a copy of SystemRescueCd, boot it up, mount Windows, delete any files you don't want. |

![]() sounds like you have been hit by the Conficker worm. Nasty little bugger. Which means you probably can't get to MS's site or any Anti-Virus sites. Which means you can't get the Stinger that reisio mentioned. |
