I've only used the filters supplied by photoshop for years now so I've no idea what's on offer commercially. |

Looks like HDR done in a half decent way + curves (or maybe just curves) ... HDR usually means that you take 2-7 shots of exactly the same thing with slightly different exposures and combine the photos in photoshop or in a specialized HDR application. |

I think you're looking for the sports car filter. It's a little on the pricey side and has the added dissadvantage that there's a different filter for each model, and you all so have to pay extra for optional add-ons. But, it works like a charm. |

Thank you smart asses. I have seen this effect does quite a bit and thought that someone might have developed a point and click filter for it. Thanks for the other tips though, I do appreciate it. |

Well if you're looking for a "point and click" method, Photoshop HDR actions may be your answer. |
