I found it to be pretty humorous.

Of course, if these things keep going on...

Then it gets less humorous with each and every "event"

Especially if such prevents the LHC from ever really going operational.

It would be an amusing exercise for a sci-fi writer or Monty Python, but nobody who has the right to call themselves scientists.
