![]() I am looking for a solution or hack, I need to trap an event when a PDF completes loading in an IFrame. Simply, I need to hide a loading indicator graphic. I've been looking for sometime now, but no luck. I started digging through the archives, and just gave up (maybe my search could be improved). |

![]() Why's that? Adobe's reader has its own loading bar. |

![]() OK, valid point, but in fact the loading bar isn't working as you'd expect. I am loading a 100 page PDF, the IFRAME is blank, then the PDF pops open, completed. |

![]() Couldn't you just put a background image behind the iframe/object/etc.? |

![]() I sort of tried that but the I frame draws itself much sooner than when the PDF finally completes loading (at least in my limited experience) I'm really surprised there is not a practical solution to this. |

![]() So what if it draws itself sooner... it should be transparent, no? |
