Topic: IFrame PDF Loaded (Page 1 of 1)

I am looking for a solution or hack, I need to trap an event when a PDF completes loading in an IFrame. Simply, I need to hide a loading indicator graphic. I've been looking for sometime now, but no luck. I started digging through the archives, and just gave up (maybe my search could be improved).
Any help would be appreciated.

Why's that? Adobe's reader has its own loading bar.

OK, valid point, but in fact the loading bar isn't working as you'd expect. I am loading a 100 page PDF, the IFRAME is blank, then the PDF pops open, completed.
Regardless, there are a number of potential steps to take or present when the PDF is completely loaded.

Couldn't you just put a background image behind the iframe/object/etc.?

I sort of tried that but the I frame draws itself much sooner than when the PDF finally completes loading (at least in my limited experience) I'm really surprised there is not a practical solution to this.

So what if it draws itself sooner... it should be transparent, no?
