Caught it last week... or two weeks ago... can't keep track of time any more.
If you don't already know or know where/how to find, then you are not worthy!

Can't wait.

Saw the HD trailer (containing no official content* - lulz) a few weeks ago... and I'm hooked!

Edit: *-I mean, no actual film content. It had Bridges in it (real and digital), but was a fantasy scene tech-demo. It made me drool.

I'm going to pop my 3D film cherry on Tron: Legacy.

After the disappointment of Avatar in 3D I don't know if I really want to go down that road ever again for any film, but something inside me is telling me that TRON is what it's all about... I'm so confused!

OMG! You did not just mention Tron and Avatar in the same sentence, did you? Even the original Tron was better than Avatar!

I forgive you. Perhaps you just didn't realise you were blaspheming... lol

[rant mode]If you were expecting a film about ten-foot smurfs on a planet with a name like 'Pandora' being in conflict with humans after a metal called 'Unobtanium' to be anything more than a pile of crap, you probably deserved to be disappointed! :P

Seriously - why did they just stop with 'Pandora' and 'Unobtanium'? They could have gone the whole hog and called the blue people 'Bluemen', the hero could have been 'Native Turner', the big bad should have been called 'B. Bad', etc., etc. If they'd been any lazier with the story, they might even have called it 'Tropefest' instead of 'Avatar'.

On top of that, despite spending a sickening amount of money on it, the graphics were average, and the composited scenes were so bad, I think even the new Star Wars movies out-did them (nothing out-does the original ones, of course). They even failed at the Box Office - if one dismisses their propaganda claims and compares the cost/profit for any other movie, ever, Avatar is probably one of the biggest flops ever!

Okay, so it wasn't as bad as I was expecting after reading the blurb (which might as well have said "tropefest, ten-foot tall smurfs oppressed by corporate-stylee big bad, hero goes native, etc, blah blah"), but it was still shit. [/rant mode]

Anyway - I don't care if Tron isn't as good as my inner child wants it to be, it would have to sink a couple of miles to be as bad as Avatar.

You've ruined yourself with that Avatar stuff, you know?

Seriously though - I expect Tron to be a much more satisfying 3D experience. Not least of all because it doesn't pretend to be something else - CGI graphics depicting a digital world? It should, honestly, look like what it is.

My only 3D cinematic experience was Beowulf - I was not disappointed. I would have been with Avatar - massively.
