dear inmates,

i'd need some help on the following site:

this is a website i've been working on for a while; and i'm little confused why there is a horizontal scrollbar when you switch to a 1024px screen resolution, as the layout is only 980px wide. can anyone help me out? i'm quite sure the solution is rather simple, yet these simple things are sometimes upon me

this did the trick
one more question though. i've the same problem on the other pages as well, where the #bar element doesn't exist....and it seems i'm just too stupid to find out which element is causing the problem over there :/

#footer-inner and .box-container also have odd-looking significant negative margin right values
