I've seen these things in action, back in 2008, and while they weren't as smart, the amount of precision they achieved even in manual control was amazing... guy had no problem flying 15 cm from the crow, an inch at a time... but then, even back then they called these things 'air nail', because whatever current you threw at them, they pretty much stayed put in 3d.... now, if they'd only actually flew longer than 15-20 minutes
