Topic awaiting preservation: Jumping into more complex programming (Page 1 of 1)

Hey there, man has it been a long time since I was last here, used to lurk and read, but I knew this was the first place to come if I wanted to dive into programming.

It seems to me that programming has shifted since the last time i even delved into it, and now I really feel encouraged to give it my all. I was wondering if anyone might have a suggestion on where to proceed first if I was looking to get into web programming. HTML, CSS, and Javascript are all a given, html and css are like riding a bike to me, but aside from those three, not sure where to start.
