Topic awaiting preservation: Ello, Ello Social networking site (Page 1 of 1)

I have been growing increasingly tired of facebook and it's targeted adverts and social manipulating algorithms.
So looking for alternatives I came upon Ello. I have only just signed up so I've not had a chance to see how good it is but it does look promising.
Does anyone here have any experience of it at all?
Also, I have a few invites (it is at present invite only apparently) if any of my beautiful and most bodacious Asylumites would like me to send an invite send my your email addy. Keep in mind I don't have many invites though so, think on.
