Man, one of those months. Been working over-time and not much time for these kinds of things. However, the labour of love did make an appearance.

Was talking with a guy that I had no idea was a duck hunter. He asked me to make him a duck call lanyard. Next day, I handed it to him. I rocked it in no time at all. Challenge accepted and nailed it. The look on his face when I had it for him the next day was priceless. Two days later I made him a special "bracelet" for him and his wife to enjoy. He actually blushed. I was happy.

But the big thing that I managed was a pan-chang bracelet. It took everything I had to make it. Pan-chang knots are very versatile and very hardcore. Not just proud, but uber proud. Imagine taking two plus hours to tie a single knot. This is something that I have tried before and failed at, but this time I got it. Every last bit of heart-n-soul that I could muster went into it. Nothing but pride.

What have you managed this past month that you are proud of?

I broke down a couple of walls - not the flimsy sheetrock and wood kind, the solid stone 'should last forever' kind.
Now I have sore muscles everywhere and an immense sense of accomplishment .
