15 Years ago I moved into my padded cell.

Wonder what happened to the likes of TP, Emporer, WebShamen, Doc, DocileBo, DL44 and many others.

I just got off the phone with one of my old friends, who started working with me as an intern at 16. He's now nearly 40! Gah-ah-ah...

I, however, remain only middle-aged at best. I *do* have to keep updating my life expectancy, but that is OK. I'm going to live to 120, possibly longer, hoo-ray! Middle age is a limit that is constantly receding, heh.

Congrats TP! I have 3 now myself, the youngest just turned 3 By far they've brought the most incredible life experiences to my wife and I.

I was a relative latecomer to join here, but enjoyed it ever since. Never could afford photoshop and never got quite good enough at Gimp to try to play some pong, though I still hope to one day Finding time now seems to be the biggest hurdle.

I wandered back here just now, following one of many moments of nihilistic clarity wherein I forgot to forget that the world is fundamentally completely batsh*t insane (a particularly bad episode brought on by the revelation that Ribena no longer tastes like blackcurrant... long story), and I remembered calming orange corridors I once used to troll in a fairly harmless way.

Glad I did- finding this thread has significantly diminished my misanthropic funk.

At least in those moments I get to miss anything... we have a 2nd boy now.

Two "space cadets" are not twice the amount of work - somehow they're both
less and much much more at the same time.
