Hello my fellow Asylumites.
I have some deeply sad news. Long time Asylumite JKMabry passed away after a 3 year battle with cancer.
I kept in touch with Jason on various social media platforms and email too I knew he wasn't well but it was only when his wife Karen replied to my unanswered messages on Facebook in February this year that I learned of his passing. Since then I have debated with myself whether to share this sad news here with you or not. I asked his wife Karen what she thought and she said yes it would be ok to post here.

Jason was such a lovely man and friend, even though we only "met" online I felt, we felt, a close connection and discussed how the strength of a friendship is not diminished by distance and how amazing it was that you could miss a person whom you've never physically met. Jason helped me set up my first website patiently walking me through the process step by faltering step.
He was, I think, one of the founder members here always ready to help and give support. He was kind and full of humour and I think not a little mischief.

I am so sorry to hear this!
I did not know Jason but I do remember JKMabry from the early days when I joined the Asylum and I remember we had some good chats over the years.

I find that I know way to few of y'all outside of the Asylum,
but I am richer for everyone I've interacted with here.
