As you might've already guessed my name's mahjqa. I finally took some time to add a topic about myself, and right now I don't have a clue what to add. Anyway.
I'm a moderator on the BIG sig forum and spend too much time fiddling with Photoshop and signatures.
Below are some questions I get asked pretty often, so here goes:
Q: How the hell do you pronounce Mahjqa?
A: It's like Mai - ka. If you're Dutch, you pronounce it like the last part of Jamaïca.
Q: Why did you choose that alias anyway?
A: I once saw the klingon word 'majqa' in a gaming magazine. I'm not a trekkie, but I thought the name had a nice ring to it. I've grown quite fond of this name, and don't intend to chcange it.
Q: Can I use your pictures/interface/signature/whatever?
A: As long as it's for personal use, I don't mind. Please don't alter or redistribute them. If you want to put them up somewhere, Please ask me first.
Q: What do you use to make your graphics?
A: Photoshop (about any version from 5 to 7), and I use Imageready (it comes with Photoshop) for the animations. I've got a trusty wacom tablet for airbrushing work.
Q: I like your style. Can you make a signature/picture/banner/design for me?
A: Propably. Write me an email with what you want and what I get in return and we'll talk.
Q: Do you charge? Sheesh.
