This is probably not due to a specific problem with you or your account but a more general security sweep for possible exploitable holes in your security (the fact that your firewall spotted the scan is a good sign).
It appears that some, like BlueYonder (look for scanner.abuse.blueyonder.co.uk in your logs) and @Home, have been scanning port 119 to see if anyone is running a USENET server which could be exploited.
