Use the transform tool to get different sizes, shapes, and angles. Make each one on a seperate layer, and play with the layer Opacity and Blending Modes. Voila - instant trend-whore crap. If you'd like to make it even worse, try adding some text that is far too small to actually read, inside some outlined boxes with random 45 degree angled cuts/protrusions on them.
