smonkey?

A smonkey is a newly evolving creature of the great ape family, it has dark spikey hair and large blue eyes. A simple creature, it has been known to ponder stupid questions and poke dangerous animals with long sticks. Most common in northern England, it can often be found shivering and wet. This can usually be remedied with hot water infused with plant extracts, or by sheltering in one of the numerous mass gathering sanctuaries. These sanctuaries have integral sources of drinking water, although most of it is tainted with fermented organic matter of one description or another.
