Yep without the controls to even close the window it can get very annoying so a quick keyboard shortcut is a lifesaver: In Internet Explorer/Windows hit ALT + F4 I have my middle mouse button (the scroller) set up to close applications when I click it, which made window-killing a breeze, until I switched to Firebird and didn't need it.
