Well it finally happened.

Having worked my ass off for the last 2 months (whilst holding down a 9-5 job) I have finished my first fully functional web-based application for a client.

It's an order management system (asp/odbc) for a local waste management company, and they liked it so much, they bought the full maintained service (12 month service contract).

Unfortunately, it's offline (sits in their server room) so I can't show you
Suffice it to say, it's my best work to date, and it even managed put a smile on my bank manager's face.

Hoo-freaking-rah!

good job! I have done a few websites and still the clients have yet to put them into place. Kind of gave up on bugging them about it.

Was this the client you mentioned in 'outpatient' a while back? If so, I'd like to know who you made out with that program you had to work with. Just checked outpatient but the forum has been cleaned up.

NoJive - That was work (day job) related.
I managed to build the new app all on my lonesome (with more than a little help from my good friend lavAzza), hence the 2 month turnaround.

For a while back there, I thought my brain was going to shrink and fall out, but it's kinda settled into a (now) semi-permanent rattle.
