Just to clarify for you, Yannah, the CPU is your central processing unit, the power of which is measured in MHz, although there are GHz processors now. |

I guess if we're talking hard drives the breakdown is as follows: |

on the whole "hey i just found 8 gigs" issue - on my computer at school the recycle bin limit must have been increased or something because last week i ventured into the ol' bin looking for any bit of space on the 60 gig drive that I could, and found something like 17 gigs in the bin!! i still had to use an external firewire hdd so i could capture about 50 gigs of dv projects |

After reading Lurch's post, I decided to go into my Recycle Bin and see how much stuff I had in there... 832 megs. So now that's all cleared up... (leaving me with 5.46 GB left on my "Files" drive and 18.7 GB left on my "Programs" drive--I think I may wipe everything out after this semester and rethink my partition...). |

I've got about 4 gbs left. We'll be ungrading soon so we should get heaps of memory. Which is a good thing because Homeworld 2 is coming and Master of Orion 3 is already here. Sci-fi games always light a spark for me . |

Ack! Gotta fix that link, I think the most up-to-date version would be at www.gravlabs.com - (Note: Help! I am addicted to new domain names! There must be a self-help group somewhere? Oh yeah, already here.) I'm still in Sweden, and the way we're moving along we'll still be here by Autumn, shite like this is *complicated*, what with selling our flat, moving our cats and most treasured furniture (as little of that as possible!) and miscellaneous what-nots. Oh yeah, and work, how could I forget that? At least I actually finished one of my contracts, now I'm only double-booked, hoo-ray! =) |
