Or, if you have a moderate good video card, right-click or left-click, depending on your card, a certain icon in your notification area and it should hopefully popup a menu showing you a bunch of resolution, bit depth and vertical frequency options for you to choose and change on-the-fly.

lol. I've read that a new screen is sold and consists in 3 TFT flat screens juxtaposed without any separations... Yarglll I want !!! But the price is disgusting...

My resolution was previously 1152X864, but now I stick in 1280X1024.

One 17" and I stick to 1280x960. In smaller resolutions everything looks huge and I don't see enough lines of code on one single screen.

One 17'' at 1024x768. Would love to increase it somewhat, but my old monitor can't handle anything bigger while still having a refresh rate over 70Hz

Mine is a 17" CRT monitor, resolution at 1024 x 768 px, 100 Hz vertical frequency.
I tried to use 1152 x 864 but since I keep looking at the damn monitor all day, to save my eyes, I only use 1024x768 now.
In Brazil I had a 2nd 17" monitor, also with 1024x768, but I didn't bring it to the USA.

I wonder how some of you guys can work with 1280 x 1024 in a 17" monitor... is it LCD? It has to be.

Oh, you mean monitors.... I was simply quoting the resolution of my eyes when you convert the marks to pixels anyways.
