hhmm.... that's an interesting theme. Very broad at least.

Amerasu: Indeed - it was felt that we didn't want to go with another 'Dark' theme but this leaves the door open if people are so inclined.

"Thoughts that changed the the way we think"

I take this to mean "ideas" that changed the way we think. Pretty broad subject, huge in fact.

My main idea leans toward thoughts/ideas in science that have changed the way we think, live and communicate. Science expands our knowledge and it will continue to so do. This subject is pretty broad too. There are many scientific ideas that have changed the way we think... biology (evolution), astronomy (size of the universe, earth is not the center) and so on...

I'm open to any subject really. Science just pops in as a biggie

The first thing that came to my mind is innovation. Like the loom and the assembly line. Another thing that comes to mind is a head or brain with hardware.

Amerasu: Yep like you evolution and the changing views of our universe were the 2 big ons that sprung to mind for me with that topic.....

yea, evolution, survivial of the fittest and the way we destroy ourselves, seems like something, that could be illustrated well. yup I just watched all the Animatrices
That is a nice extremely broad topic, but a thought isnt tangeable it still has to be worked into something a lot simpler. I actually found in school when we where given themes in art, the less broad ones where easier to make something interesting/unusual out of.

I'll ICQ you both tomorrow WJ & Hugh. Maybe we can bounce some more ideas around and figure out how to work together in a way that will suit everyone's schedule? We should probably try to settle on a theme along with some concrete ideas on how to get our subject across as a graphic ... something like that at least
