Is it possible to actually be so bored that your brain just shuts down, killing yourself?

Yes, you can be bored to death, but it requires a drill of some sort... And, of course, even if you're revived, people will still tell you to 'shut your borehole'...



Evil in theory, not so much in practice...

Being bored to death kind of reminds me of Greek Mythology. Those stories that people went to Hades and everyone was moaning and groaning. Not because they were in pain but because they were bored.
