It's been almost 9 months now, since Jalen appeared in our lives, and how life has changed in this time.

It?s almost funny how I used to be adamant that having children wouldn?t make that much of an impact on my life? heh, if only I?d thought a little harder about that one

Since he arrived, my life has quite literally been turned upside down (and I know there are a few parents here who would agree with that statement!) and I seldom have the time to produce any work, other than what is required for my job, which is probably why I?ve been a less-than-productive inmate over recent weeks.

Who knows, as time goes by, maybe I?ll find the time to start producing stuff just-for-fun again? Fingers crossed, but given the choice? I choose babies


The only reason I?m posting this is because Philamena (my better half, and Jalen?s mum) was just taking a bowl of food into him (can?t believe he?s been on solids for so long already), when she beckoned me over?

Little munchkin had fallen asleep in a heap of toys (cue aaaaaaaaahs), which was, quite frankly, the cutest thing I have ever seen in my whole life

If only I had a working digital camera! Grrr.

Anyways, I promised photos months ago, so here?s a link to his site, and a little insight into our small family unit as it now exists.

Gawd, you're sooo embarasing at times, sheesh!

So... had a full night's sleep yet, since the little bugger's birth?

Heh plenty.

He sleeps for around 8-10 hours, straight through, and we had to decide, do we want evenings to ourselves and get up early, or lie-ins every day.

Needless to say, we settled for the former since trying to relax in the evening is generally more satisfying.

These-days, I generally rise with the sun and the birds, unless it's my 'designated lie-in day'

Can't seem to find a good tutorial anywhere either!
