Still, nothing beats Grendal...

Sounds fantastic Ini. Do you know if any studio has actually commited to these projects or is it still just speculation?

I hope they make Ghost Rider- one of my favorite titles by far. I'm worried that the Punisher and FF will just get a screwed up again.

I hope they'll stay true to the comics and not sell out to "the teenage audience" the way the WB has with DC titles. I'm worried that the Hulk has a little of that in it.

I was wondering if they'd get around to the Fantastic Four... Looking forward to that one! We've been waiting for the HULK since it leaked out 3 years ago!

Who'da thunk it? Comics make pretty good movie fodder... Got your main theme and sequels all written out for ya!

Ang Lee is the director of The Hulk.

I saw something about the Punisher the other day, it looks like Thomas Jane might be the frontrunner for the part. I'm sorry, he's a good actor and all (Dreamcatcher, Deep Blue Sea...) but I just don't see him fitting the part of the Punisher. Ah well.

I'd like to see another Superman movie, Supes has always been my absolute favorite.

there was talk a while back about making an Avengers movie actually.

The script for FF has went through so many hands and has changed so many times that it better be damn good.

Would love to see a Punshier movie I always loved Ghost Rider but man the writers really screwed up that book toward the end. Jeez. . .

Much as I'd like to see one, I don't think they'll make a Superman movie for quite some time.

The characters I'd love to see out of marvel would be Gambit (where the hell is he?), Apocolypse, the Excalibur Team (Widgit would be cool.... not to mention Megan), Cable, Forge, and maybe... Sentinels maybe even going as far as Nimrod. Angel has to be in there too. If apocolype comes in they'll hve to do the Angel/Arch Angel conversion. Besides that's where Rogue gets all of her powers.

I just can't wait for a lot of these movies to come out. Maybe they'll make a new Batman while they're at it. Or start getting into other Mcfarlane Comics besides Spawn. They've opened the door into an endless realm of movies. Exciting times.

As long as they do them well! I thought Spawn fell a little short of the mark, but the graphics technology hadn't come as far when they made that one. A new Superman would be cool, but, as it came out when I was younger, I have a real hard time accepting anyone other than Christopher Reeves in the roll. Though I'm sure someone could do it better. Who's the kid in Smallville? Tom Wellings? I wonder how he'd do in a Superman movie?

I can't believe they haven't yet introduced Gambit in the X-Men series. He's one of my favorites, and I thought for sure he'd be in it. It's the accent, really... Presumeably, he will show up before it's all said and done... There's a lot still to be done with that!

Bishop whould be a nice addition as well. Though It would be hard to fit him into the current direction of the films. It looks like the Dark Phoenix saga is next.

There were rumors a going around after the first batman movie (the first and second Batman movies rocked, everything else sucked hard) that Tim Burton was going to direct a superman movie. That would have been um... Interesting. Superman meets Goth?... I would have paid to see it, but David Boreanaz as Superman... I'll keep expecting his forhead to go bumpy whenever he gets angry. Although, they made a classical singer into Wolverine, maybe they can do it the other way round as well.

I want to see Gambit in X-Men too... and Beast... Although, Bishop was from the future so it'd be a little hard to work him into the story. Still I've yet to see X-Men 2 but I'm glad Night Crawler is in it. He was another one of my favourites. However, Lets not forget the whole Gambit & Rogue thing. I always through they were roughly the same age so If they bought Gambit in now wouldn't that mean he'd be around 20 years old?... That just wouldn't work.

Whilst several comics come movies have worked fairly well, I've yet to see a decent computer game come movie, but rumour has it ideas have been kicked around for a Duke Nukem movie. I honestly wouldn't be surprised, George Brousard (sp?) is still a millionare from the Duke Nukem 3D era, even after 6 years of developing Duke Nukem Forever, with several game engine ports during development and no clear deadline he somehow still has more money than developers that'd been kicking out titles left right and center. The only developer that's still surviving from that day and age is Carmack. Hell even Westwood (All the Command & Conqure Games) went bust.

Bishop!! Thank you!

Well, they still haven't touched on the whole external thing as far as Marvel goes. That's the only way anything is going to work between Rogue and anybody... Apocolypse is supposed to be one which is why even mutant powers won't work against him (except Jean, Scott and Cable's anyway).

Maybe it's just me but I think actors are being tailored for an Excalibur movie. Nightcrawler, Shadowcat, and the whole Phoenix thing lead into that team.

here is the Punisher movie site. It isn't really up until 6/20, but you can see the idea of the movie poster. It is also reported that John Travolta is the baddie in the Punisher movie.
