TechnoSphere is a 3D model world inhabited by artificial lifeforms created by WWW users.
I have created quite a few creatures in Technosphere before, all of whom were herbivores (like myself). The longest lived by any of them was about 6 months.
This time I think I have the perfect "veggie" creature his name is taobaybee (of course)
By way of a comparison I have also created a mean carnivore,
Taominator To see how long he can last.
Every now and then your creature sends you emails to let you know what has been happening to it. If you are interested in making your own creature follow the link above. My first one was eaten after a couple of weeks. (It's a sprite eat sprite world in Technosphere)

[edit]Doh!! sorry 'bout the pictures,

*clicks link*...

Wow, thay've either changed a lot, or this isn't the same site. the creatures look extreamly similar to what I remember from back in 96 though.

Wow this is pretty cool!

It would be a lot of fun to start a new Asylum project similar to this! We could come up with dozens of different body parts to choose from, each doing something else, and find out which creature is the toughest.

Very cool. Looks like it's been going on for 11.66 years according to http://www.technosphere.org.uk/cgi-bin/stats.exe
what's your creature id number, I'd like to see what kind of stats it has. I might be interested in trying to make something similar to this (although on a smaller scale) for my ecology class.

Looks like Eyeew is a herbivore, is that right Fey? I can't remember how long the longest lived herbivore lasted. I think the carnivores tend to last longer. I always tend towards quality over quantity anywho
I have had one last over a year, if memory serves me correctly, with two offspring. Ahhh

Yes it is a herbivore actually it looks a bit like my vacuumcleaner to tell the truth... I also made a carnivore called OohWah. (the sound of a dying giraffe plays in my head when I think of this name)

Now I'm waiting for the email after the activation email so I can see what they're up to I imagine OohWah will be hungry. it would be so ironic if it ate Eyeew...does this happen, do you know?

Here comes Tartine

Though its huge mouth, it doesn't speak yet so I know little about its life.
