It's the same principal as setting up a standard dual boot system...install XP first, then on a seperate drive (or a seperate primary partition formatted to the correct format) you install red hat, then back to XP, and on another drive or partition install free BSD...you can install as many as you like (well, actually as many as you can create primary partitions) and it just gets added to the boot menu. |

The fourth link on the first page from the above google link is this: Black Viper's Multiple OS Installation Guide. Now use that 500gr of grey mass underneath your hair to do the rest. |

Did you look at the link yet??? You only have to partion once. And you can do this with any os. I personaly like the Knoppix cd for these things. Just boot from cd and prepare the comp from there. |

I don't understand what you are talking about. I'm going to do it in this order. Windows XP pro, Redhat Linux 8 and FreeBSD 4.8 Release. What are you talking about?? Please reply back. |

Well, look at it this way - if you can't figure out what he's talking about when he says "go read the information in that link", perhaps going about implementing a multiple boot setup isn't something you should be doing just yet. |

I think i'm going set it up my way but then if i do that then i get errors. / partition is too big for 1ooMB or no swap partition. I do not have room for a swap partition. Can you tell me how to set up FreeBSD for a beginner and a first time user without any of my partitions being too big?? Please reply back. |
