Just wondering if anyone plays/watches this sport. I have not played in 6 years and I miss it so was thinking about joining local club. I grew up playing soccer and american football and played rugby in College. |

I played prop for 8-years from high school to college. I usually played to keep in shape for football(American) during the off-season. I played linebacker in football. |

And that intimidating "dance" they do before the match ain't too shabby either. I know I'd be off running in the other direction as fast as possible... |

I play rugby in St. Louis. I've played hooker since I was in HS, played at Truman St. University in Missouri. When I came back from college I started up a high school club in St. Louis and have been coaching that and playing for a men's club here ever since. |

I watch it sometimes when it's on. Though in my part of the woods, they don't air it often. It's amazing to watch those guys actually kick to ball to each other. Don't know the rules to it but it's cool to watch. |

yeah- its an amazing sport that forces you to become a well-rounded athlete. passing, tackling, running, kicking, catching, endurance . . . passion. Changed the way I view all sports now - especially amaerican football. |

Yeah, I like to watch rugby sometimes... Furthermore, France has a rather good team, so it's interesting. |

It is an all-round good exercise, even though after playing a season of rugby I usually found I would have to bulk-up again to play football. Football requires less endurance and more power than rugby. |
