Well, I have wrapped up my classes with two presentations today. Then I was emailed my grade for the one course I was taking online. So I guess this makes it official.... I'm smart now.

Ok, so it is a very small degree, just an AAS in Web Development. But it is mine, so I'm fond of it already. And I've heard that this degree and three dollars will get me an espresso in just about any city in the U.S.A.

At the end of this month, just a few days away, I'm going home to Anchorage, AK. Going home to the woman I love, the mountains that have always been a part of me, and to a dog who has probably forgotten that I exist. Going home to find my soul again...

Now that I'm not a college kid any more, I'm trying to figure out what to do next. Maybe I should find a j... I think it's called a j.... Damn, I'm sure it starts with a 'J'. Can anyone refresh my memory?

I just want to say thanks to everyone here at the Asylum. The conversations here have helped keep me sane (relatively, anyway) and the coding forums have been THE place to go when I'm stumped. I don't know if I would have made it without the Asylum.

Um, jalopy? Jamboree? Jock strap? Sorry man, my memory seems to be failing, too.

Oh, and congratulations on your degree. I think it has less currency over here in Korea, though, as you would need four dollars or so in addition to that degree for a cup of coffee. Still, it must be nice.

Congratulations! A degree is a degree - a worthwhile venture regardless of what other people say. And a cup of coffee is less than $3 here... Not that I would recommend moving to North Carolina at the moment...

J... would that be say a cup o' java?

Congratulation Norm, I seem to be the only one here who can remember that J mostly stands for a JOB but that's because I'm stuck in one I really need to quit.

All the best man!

The only "J" I can think of at present is almost legal here in the "Pool of Life"
Enjoy your time in the mountains. J's of any description can wait.

Since I live in Holland, and most things are legal here ... I'll have a J for you and wish you everything you wished for yourself. Enjoy your home, your mountains, your love and your dog ... then, and only then, go and look for that J thing ...

Well done and happy hunting.
