Due to property developers buying the house that I have an apartment in, I have now got six weeks to find somewhere else to live, before I am evicted. (Such a horrible word).
Thankfully I have had time (just) to complete my studies. I wont get the results till september (I have been studying for a HND in multimedia systems).
So now I am looking for another home and also looking for work. Because of this I will be away from my beloved Asylum quite a bit, and I am missing it already.
The "redevelopment" has begun and the area around my apartment is like a building site, noise, crap and dust everywhere!!
They have already dug up my internet cable but thankfully I managed to stop a "goon" chopping it in half with a spade. So I am not sure how long I can stay online either.
All of this means I will most likely be "missing" from here for a while, I don't know how long.
I am waiting to hear from prospective employers in Ireland, Wales, and England. I'm checking the job situation in Scotland this weekend.
My situation is beginning to look like one of those pivotal moments in ones life when crossroads are reached and choices need to be taken quickly but also carefully.
So, my friends and mentors, if you don't hear from me for a while, it is because of this.
I need to focus all of my attention and energies on finding a place to BE.
I love the Asylum, because of the people who make it a learning and caring place to be. I will not stay away a moment longer than I need to.
If this post is a little erratic 'tis because I am not used to the effects of a certain, single malt whiskey that I have been sharing with friends who thought to console me
My thoughts are with you

Thanks NoJive and Emps, your words mean a lot to me and it does help knowing you guys will be there "on the other side"
btw the Single Malt in question is "Connemara Pure Pot Still" . Now, if I can get work in the west coast of Ireland, and broadband!!!! That would be somthing

Good luck and a safe journey onwards TBB .. If Ireland doesn't work out, drop me a line and I'll see if any of my contacts are interested in a new expat over here in Holland
