Ya... Saw this. Great stuff. I really liked the view from the wing-cam.

Does it really count as "crossing" the channel, though, if you're falling over it at 30,000 feet?

Counts in my book. I'm guessing this is not for those with a weak heart. I kinda liked pondering the military potential for his toy too. Imagine the potential benefit for special forces if they could be dropped 50 miles outside their landing zone and come in at 120 mph give or take. Talk about stealth.. sheesh. All it needs is some sort of propulsion and it'll really be something awesome. Of course, it wouldn't be suprising if something along those lines already existed either.
