Topic awaiting preservation: Synonymes for...

I'm researching a bit, and I'm looking for different ways to name something that usually is called "garagesale", "yardsale", "fleamarket", things like that. You know what I mean.

I'm after different variations or synonymes for that kind of event, any suggestions?

Car boot sale is a similar one.

Or you could always try Trash 'n Treasure, White Elephant Sale, similar things to that, although that's usually the kind of stuff you would see at a fete.

Jeez, I don't know. I hit the usual haunts and nothing much came up.

(And just a note -- all the ones you named should be two words, not one. In case you're planning to make some professional signs or something.)

Webster's lists "tag sale".
I would suggest "American crazy way to sale".
Or "What the heck this people are doing with all their stuff outside the house?"

Swapper's meet is another one that works... closer in flea market to meaning..

I passed a "barn sale" the other day.
