Well, after serving 7 yrs previously and taking a short 3 yr break from the armed forces, i have decided to re-inlist. There were many factors for this decision, but i swear the £6000 they offered me to rejoin had nothing to do with it.

So, what army are you talking about? US? (I assume so, since most other places don't talk about 'armed forces'...)

Nope...I beleive he'd be talking about the British Army...seeing as how he lives in Swansea, Wales, UK...

RLC - Royal Logostics Corps, as a Chef and Physical Training Instructor. I came out as a Lance Corporal, and will loose rank upon re-enlisting, but wont be long before i pick that up again. Kinda looking forward to it again, although i have a little wieght to content with, but not much.

Actually, it was the £6000 that tipped me off, unless the US has changed its currency.

And I recently had a conversation with my brother that went:

ME: "...best special forces unit? Delta force I guess."
Him: "Nah, British SAS."
Me: "Why do you say that?"
Him: "Well, you always hear about supposedly covert missions that Delta Force is supposed to have done and whatnot."
Me: "So. You never hear about the SAS."
Him: "Exactly. That's how good they are."
