Topic awaiting preservation: New aperfectcircle album! (Page 1 of 1)

Well, seeing as how this board seems to attract a lot of Tool fans (me included), I thought I'd post this.

Aperfectcircle is a side project fronyed by Maynard or Tool, and they have a new CD coming out this Fall, a sample track can be heard here.

Anyways, check them out. Yup...

Hurray! A new Perfectcircle CD, almost as good as a new Tool CD

I'm considering going to a release party for the CD tonight, but not sure yet...

I just saw them two weeks ago in concert. There show slides into the number two spot on my top ten concerts, right benieth Tool at numbert one.

I saw them back when they opened for NIN. That was a nice concert . Didn't get a chance to see them at Lollapalooza, though.

Mmk, just bought it.

I'm on song 4 now... So far this CD is lacking.... The first song was pretty good, I didn't see anything special in the second, the third was ok, and I just finished hearing the fourth track, also borderline for ok and suck.

Lacking so far... But I have 8 more songs to go, I'll let you know how it turns out.

I should be holding it in my hands within the hour. *drools.* Hopefully your opinion is a fluke =)

Mer De Noms > Thirteenth Step

Don't get your hopes up CFB.

I just listened to it, and although it didn't measure up to Mer de Noms (Which I'd give a 4.5/5), it was still very good, and I don't think that I felt let down at all. I'd give it around a 4.3/5. "The Noose," and "The Outsider" are especially good.

The CD wasn't as good as it could be, but it is stilla great CD imo. I would give it a 4.3/5 or a 4.4/5...

finally i got both cds....well i just listened to thirteenth step yet, and i would give it a 8/10
