If XP has the same style task manager (I'm guessing that's what your looking at) as 2000, which enumerates the running processes, a process may be called explorer.exe but the task manager doesn't display the actual location of the source file... so your computer could be running: C:\windows\my new virus\explorer.exe instead of: C:\windows\explorer.exe. But I don't know much about XP so it could be different, I guess. |
