Looking at this from a particular angle, whether or not he was forced to rob the bank is irrelevant. He said he had a bomb, and the FBI just shrugs it off.... It exploads and he dies.

Good job FBI, I feel so much safer.

I had just finished reading an article in Time Magazine about this situation. From the sound of things, I honestly don't believe he had done it of his own free will.

The article went into detail about his life up to that point, about how his lifestyle was to keep attention away from himself and live his own life the way he saw fit. (ex: he removed the hubcaps from his car, as he deemed them too flashy) His boss at the pizza place he worked at told the magazine that he'd never missed a work day, and had often been offered free food in case he was hungry, yet he never touched any of it claiming that it wasn't his to eat. He took care of three cats, of which he called simply 'Kitty'. His only houseguest on a regular basis was his mother, whom he had dinner with on Sunday. In fact, as his employer expressed, the only kink in an otherwise straight edge life he lead was the usual bottle of liquor he consumed.

At around 2 o'clock on that day, he delivered a pizza to an address that landed him down a dirt road lined with large radio dishes. The robbery took place at roughly 2:45.

It was also said that he had protested his involvement in the ordeal up until the device detonated, and either a seperate note (or the same one used in the heist, unsure) gave instructions to drop the money off at three different locations.

News like this hits me a lot harder than truck bombs going off in the middle east.

Thanks for posting the article, Insider, gave me something to talk about... finally.

I've got the video clip of the bomb exploding actually... Pretty disturbing.
