This sort of work is really really beautiful, I have no idea how someone can do such sites using this infamous thing called Flash, but, on the other hand, they are really not practical at all. I prefer more straight forward sites. Besides, Flash sites almost always demand too much of my CPU - not that my computer cannot deal with it, it's a P3-733 good enough for the job, but it speeds up the CPU fan making more noise.
These Flash sites are good just to look at, not really to use.

Well, yes, if it's just for the artistic value of it all, I'm cool with it. Just so long as they don't work this into a real site, that I'm actually browsing for information.

I agree with ozphactor. The site is fantastic as a piece of 'flash art', but as a webpage you visit for the information's sake it still has a (long) way to go.

Art is fine when presenting art, but for practical stuff, it is as useful as fire in hell. Actually, it's worst than that, it's bothersome.
Here's a good use of flash to present a movie, so it's art to show art. http://mysticrivermovie.warnerbros.com/index.php

Yeh, I guess your right Oz.. I have my 'pure info' sites which I appreciate for their simplicity speed and that facilitate ease of data digestibility, and I have my 'dazzle my brain' sites.. which do just that. But I enjoy seeing what people do with applications like Flash.
