I don't really think that is the case 'round here... remember that the replies to each thread are stored in individual files so it'd be pretty hard for anything short of drive failure to take them all.....

...backup would be horribly behind, as well...

wow, I musta missed that thread you linked too..

...but the 'device failure?' thread simply glitched... maybe the server got tired of serving it to you, or some ditz at Dreamhost tripped over a cable or something....

...but with so many dynamicly generated pages being served to so many people shit like this will happen...
