Heya. I guess not many people around the asylum know me very well, but here's a small chance to learn a few more things, whether you want to, or not. Well, okay, if you don't, just click the back button. |

What about RIT's School of Film and Animation? And you'd still be able to take a course or two at UR'sEastman School of Music. |

As for the correct term for a 3D modeller/animator/designer, you're looking at a CG (computer graphics) Artist there. For learning a 3D program well enoguh ot be able to design, model, texture, rig and animate characters you may want to try a specialty school, like the Renneisance Centre, which you can find a link to through http://www.3DBuzz.com (a site the school runs). |

You always have Cornell U right around the corner- not sure about their CG cirriculum. NYC art schools are a short 4-5 hour bus ride. School of Visual Arts, Parsons, Cooper Union. I took continuing education classes at SVA- great instructors and you'd be right in manhattan. Thats puttinig yourself 100% into art- not just minoring while majoring in something else more main stream- math, science, etc. |
