Topic awaiting preservation: rcp-service thing (?) (Page 1 of 1)

i have this problem: i keep getting the message: remote procedure call service not found/ terminated (or smething like that) then my computer used to restart 60 sec afterwards, then i changed it via the compmng (properties etc.) and now it just asks me if i wish to continue. anyways so i read a thread about it here and i put mt rpc-locator on automatic (i'm still waiting to see if i get the damn message again or not) anyways my question would be: is this thing related to that infamous worm? (i just got an internet connection by the way) and if it is, could it explain why my cpu keeps getting overloaded and slowing down (everytime i fart so to speak)?
just wondering if i should reinstall windows and shit.
