A friend of mine is going to upgrade his girlfriend 7.0 to wife 1.0 in a couple weeks time. |

Well, I upgraded my last girlfriend to wife 2.0 and I am happy with the decision so far (9 years later). |

I'd really like to upgrade mine, but I should wait longer to do it. |

My girlfriend's still in 1.66... as you know that was when the JustSitThereAndLookPretty Engine was still beta and replaced with NagBoyfriend 1.0 which keeps prompting you for useless information and, when you let it lag, crashes with a "You Don't Love Me" Error. |

I'd like to start from the bottom out with Girlfriend 1.0, but I can't afford the high fees necessary to even take it out off the shelf. Luckily though it means I avoid the NagBoyfriend Engine and 'You Don't Love Me' Errors, but the Sex Drive is something I might like to have. Maybe one day I'll be able to avoid it. As with all things people regularly do to operate their computers/lives/everything else, bachelourhood is habit forming. |

Has anyone had any success in running multiple instances of girlfriend???????? It might be handy to keep a couple of older versions (1.0, 2.0 ect) running for compatibility issues.... |

I think I am lucky. My application wife 2.0 used to crash at the beginning, I believe that it had some incompatibilities still going on, but as I used it more and more, applying proper patches, it got a lot better; likewise, I also learned a lot from wife 2.0 and now the program runs very smoothly, no crashes anymore. I have even being able to code two other programs, daughter 1.0 and daughter 2.0, not that here the version really matters but it makes sense since both daughters are way too different one from another. I really don't miss any of my former applications, girlfriend x.x and superior. I use that kind of operational system that can't run both applications - wife 2.0 and girlfriend x.x - at the same time. It's an old OS. |

You mean get away from my favorite applications: wife 2.0, daughter 1.0 and daughter 2.0 ?? |

Skarjj- Sex Drive also comes bundled with various versions (but not all!) of DarkAlluringStranger (available at many Public Utility Booths), but may sometimes load viruses into your computer. I highly recommend running some sort of virus/spawn protection- you have been warned!! |

Why do I get the feeling quite a few people here also rely on Madame Palm 1.0 and the accompanying Daughters 5.0 but aren't prepared to admit it? |

No, I don't run this version of XP (ChristianValuesXP). I think Microsoft doesn't even have the knowlegde - and values - to code such an OS. |

Yeah I just went through a complete Uninstall of Girlfriend 10.0. Almost caused a system crash, but with the help of MistressRecovery Utility I was able to get some of the data back. Not all though. Since then my MistressRecovery Utility caused some problems with my CPU so that had to be uninstalled. Right now I am OS independant. |

My processor isnt too compatable with that software. Last time they I installed Girlfriend I got the Microsoft version, it crashed with no errors and was unrecoverable. Since then I've been searching for upgrades, but they all seem too expensive and less friendly than usual. |
