![]() the only image I liked was a tree and two women, otherwise tasteless instantaneous art. I would have loved it more if he focused on quality and not quantity... I have known sand painters that do wonders creating 3d dimensional, colorful nature scenes and of course if this is your first time seeing one you can understand the potential.... thanks for the link, Arseniy |

![]() Well, on a technical level, he could have done better... It was the movement and the flow of it that really grabbed my attention... It was very smooth and the images flowed into each other pretty well, even when all he did was scatter some extra sand... |

![]() I watched it the first time through without sound and then with. As performance art it was not a bad piece, its unique. Was there a theme that I missed? If not a theme would be cool.... |

![]() GraFFix: I had never seen sand painting. Thanks. As bodhi23 said, the flow is impressive and the painting is synchronized with the music. Great performance. |

![]() rawbot: Instantaneous, yes, but tasteless? That seems a bit harsh, especially since the idea of the presentation (as I saw it) was to flow quickly from one idea to the next. He was concentrating on speed and fluidity, not necessarily quality. Personally, I don't think there's anything wrong with that. It's like chess--there's traditional chess, and then there's speed chess, and they are two different games. You can't say one is "better" than the other. |
