Topic awaiting preservation: Free word translators... (Page 1 of 1)

I'm looking to translate a sizeable chunk of text from Swedish to English... does anyone know of a site that I can do this through?

There's the Babel Fish if it's under 150 words... but that's all I've herd of...

Micahel: Have you tried babelfish?

Its not ideal but it is run from the Systrans software which is one of the best but no machine can do a good translation but it might be sufficient with the help of our Swedish inmates

Yea... tried the fishies before I even posted. They don't support Swedish to English.

well, this might help. I have a friend that is Czech and she insists on throwing in Czech words on me so i have to translate them. It works but it's kind of funky sometimes.

Michael: Anyway, BabelFish can help you if you're able to translate your swedish text in one of those languages : Chinese, Korean, Japanese, German, French, Italian, Russian, Spanish, Portugese isn't that great ?

Thanks to my good old friend Google I found some English - Swedish dictionnaries here and there. And it reminded me that you can install babylon translator.

CPrompt: I knew that Michael wanted a full text translator but didn't really found one. I should have insisted on my good old friend. I hadn't seen your post when I began mine. I've been quite busy trying to translate some extremely clever words in swedish and finnish
