Do you know if learning gmax is compatible with learning 3dsmax? As in, once the learning curve is crested in gmax, is there an easy transition to 3dsmax? |

Gmax is basically a watered down version of 3dsmax, but without a render engine. its real use is modelling for games.... |

Thats cool... I've been tinkering with Blender2.25 from http://www.blender3d.org/ and while it is an excellent modelling tool and a competent game engine, and some guru's have perfected it's use like in this excellent short animation . I wanted to learn what the main game makers were using, 3ds max. |
