I am best man for wedding August 7, 2004. Trying to decide where to go. My buddy doesn?t want to go to Vegas b/c he doesn?t gamble and the flight is 5 hours direct flight . . I am not going to argue- I am fine planning somewhere else. |

I'd suggest the Hamptons. I have a summer house out in Southampton and its absolutely beautiful. There are good restaurants and bars to choose from and theres always the possiblity of nailing Paris Hilton. |

ah yes, Paris . . . I mean, ahem. Hamptons. We are considering it, but can we get a house for wed/thursday - sunday? Also, are lines for bars/clubs too long . . . feed me inside info. Been to Hamptons once 6 years ago. |

Personally, I've never had to look for a home in the Hamptons. This is the off season though so if you book early I can't imagine you'll have TOO much trouble finding a room. I Google'd for bed & breakfasts and hotels out east and found a good listing of places at www.southforkweddings.com/hamptons-bed-breakfasts.html . I'm sure you'll be able to find plenty of places through Google. |
